February 21 Pudding Fest. The Urban Myth - a lighthearted exploration of urban myths. Is truth as strange as fiction? Can fiction sound truth? You may be none the wiser!
March 21 A Shepherd's Tale. Davis Smith talks about his life as a shepherd.
April 18 Llangollen International Music Eisteddfod. Briony Newport talks about the history of the festival and gives a vivid description of the annual competitions.
May 16

"As Dr Johnson Once Said" A talk about Dr Johnson given by Mary Baker, Chair of the Dr Johnson Society (Wine and nibbles)

June 16* Barbecue at Willows, Faringdon Road, Shippon. (Note 6.00 p.m. Saturday)
July 18* Riverside Picnic and walk to the newly opened start of the Wilts and Berks Canal in Abingdon led by a member of the Wilts and Berks Canal Trust (Note 7.00 p.m.).
August 15* Visit to Christ Church Cathedral. Tea in the Great Hall. Visit to Cathedral Shop and Treasury. Choral Evening Service. Guided Tour. 4.30 - 8.00 p.m. For information about the Cathedral visit their website.
September 19 Sailing Tall Ships. George Kay of the Jubilee Trust. (Our Charity Evening)
October 17 Look back at the Swinging Sixties. Bridgett Tubb, of Tubbjoys Antiques, talks about memorabilia and antiques from a bygone era.
November 21 Give me a Map and I'm Magic. Margaret and John Thompson talk about their highs and lows in a lifetime of orienteering and explain this fascinating sport for the uninitiated.
December 19 Christmas Party.
